Corona virus outbreak

 Hey bloggers,

In Auckland NZ (New Zealand) we are currently in level 3 lock down because of the coronavirus outbreak. The rest of New Zealand are at level 2. We are in this state because 4 people in South-Auckland have been tested positive for coronavirus, after showing symptoms. Cabinet are going to make a decision at 5:30pm on Friday if we should go to level 4, stay at level 3 or go to level 2.  What do you guys think? In my opinion I think we should stay at level 3 until there is completely no cases in New Zealand . For all of you guys in Auckland and all other places that have coronavirus stay at home and stay safe.

This is some helpful info so that you can save yourself and save other people to:

If you going for essentials or exercise, work etc wear a mask and keep 2 meters distance from the people around you. Always wash/ sanitize before and after you do anything. Be kind to everyone they are also going through a hard time as well, be great full to people who are working at the store because they have risked their own life to help others and provide things for them.

My time during lock down:

I have been watching a bit of TV when I am bored. I love reading books I have finished a chapter book in 2 days because of how interesting it was. I love drawing or sketching with my little sister who is 2 years old, I am helping her draw because that is what I used to do with my dad and mum sometimes when I was younger. I do not spend a lot of time outside because of how hot it is and I honestly dislike the heat it burns me and blinds me.  I like video calling my cousins and aunts and uncles as well. So that is what I have occupied myself with so far during this lock down and also blogging because that is what I am doing right now. My teacher has emailed my class some learning activities that we can do, so I look forward to doing that!

Me protesting!!

If we stay in lock down for any longer can we do school learning online the reason is because people are going  down in their learning ( including me) and are going to be board at home doing nothing so please if the lock down gets any longer can we do school learning online . What do you guys think about home learning?

What have you guys been doing during this lock down?

Thank you for reading my blog post .

have a lovely day and be kind, stay home, stay safe, safe lives.

 Kia Kaha New Zealand

Bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Hi Marwah,

Great to see you using this time to blog and share your thoughts about this second wave of COVID-19 that has hit NZ! I think we will stay in level 3 in Auckland for a bit longer (I'm also really hoping that we do stay at level 3, although I would like to be back at school). Have you got any suggestions for some fun learning tasks that we could do if we do need to stay at home next week?

What book did you read? It must have been good if you finished it in two days!

I've been catching up on sleep and replying to lots of emails. I also went to the supermarket today and wore a mask - it was very uncomfortable!

Hopefully we'll be back to school soon. I'm off to watch the Prime Minister's announcement. Take care!

    1. Hi Mrs Eagleson,

Thank you for responding to my blog post. The book was called Dear Max. Can we can do art on paper and take a photo of it. On Monday we are going back to school. I have a question. Do we wear a mask when we go back to school?
