Summer Learning Journey Activity 16 (Te Huarere/Weather)

 Hey bloggers,

For the kick start activity we had to complete 3 sentences in Maori about the weather and for the step it up we had to record ourselves saying the sentences. I decided to do the kick start and step it up by completing the slides and recording myself asking the question in Maori and answering back in Maori. I forgot to translate it but...

He aha te tohu huarere? means What is the weather forecast?                                                                          He puahuru rangi means A hot day.

Here is my screencastify and the slides:

hope you guys enjoyed my blog post
Bye

Tino pai tō mahi, good work with this activity! You’ve nailed the first sentence, ka pai. The responses are a little different though, the adjective needs to come after the noun. So for example, instead of ‘he kāpuapua rangi’, it should read ‘he rangi kāpuapua’.

Thanks for the video too, you have good pronunciation!

    Keep up the great work.
