How we could reduce the single use amount of plastic

Hey bloggers,

Today I my group in reading  which is Hufflepuff had to do How we could reduce  the number of single use plastic. I came with 5 ways you can help us reduce rubbish. Do you know that all the plastic we use goes to landfill? Some people do not know what landfill is so I will explain it to you: every year 26.8 million tons of rubbish is sent to a place that they dig all the plastic into the ground  it is very bad for the environment. Sometimes the plastic goes to the ocean it can also pollute the earth. What happens when it pollutes places? It kills sea and wildlife creatures. It take 500 or more years for just one plastic bag to disintegrate. So you could help the sea and wildlife creatures as well as the world.
Here is someways you can help the world:

  2. Kia ora Marwah,
I'm Lewie, I'm from Grey Main School and I'm 10 years old, and I agree with you
    about the plastic bags.

That we shouldn't use bags that aren't recyclable. Because they kill animals that
    have done nothing to us.

    1. Kia Ora Lewie,

I agree that they have done nothing to us. It is really bad for us and the animals. The more things go to the landfill the bigger danger we are in. Do you know how? because the more that goes to the landfill the bigger the hole gets in the earth, and we loose more and more oxygen when things go to the landfill.

      Stay safe.
