Hey bloggers,

Today I am super happy that I finish week 1 because that was so long,we had to do 5 days and in one day we had to do 3 activity's. The same this week but on the first day we have to do four activity's.

In New Zealand we are so lucky that we have so many option for summer activities.  There are so many park where you can play the sport of your choice with families and friends or play on the free play grounds and there are also many beaches where you can swim to your heart desire.  There is also free holiday program for the children through out the country especially the ones that are done by the Libraries.

well here is my picture

This is me doing my Dare to explore booklet from the Auckland Three Kings Library.  This is my favorite summer activity because it has different task for me to complete under the trees outside or inside the house, especially when its super hot and I dont want to get sun burnt. There is lots of fun things to complete like reading picnic, word finds, writing your own book, listening for sounds outside, reading with a friend and many more.  When we complete the booklet there is a water party that we get invited to on the 21st of January. I am looking forward to that so hopefully I can finish all the tasks in the booklet.  I am wondering if anyone else is doing this activity as well. Leave a comment to let me know if you are.

Bye for now

  1. Kia Orana Marwah,

You are so right, there are lots of things to do in Auckland, people love going out and about to hang out at parks, pools, beaches and even the malls. What's your favourite place to visit in your free time? (Other than the library).

Thanks for sharing a nice photo of you doing one of your favourite things. The library is such a great place to read and relax. I enjoy going with my niece on some weekends and the holidays to look for something interesting to read, the range of genres is awesome.

I like to go swimming in summer, I also like to read in a quiet room with the air con blasting out cold air. My me time is pretty important, especially in summer (which happens to be my least favourite season). My favourite season is winter, a time where I appreciate my duvet and overcoats a whole lot more!

Good luck with your booklet activities.

    Toe feiloa'i fo'i,

    Cia.
