Hello beautiful bloggers
New Zealand is a country full of wonders with its beautiful place that we here are very fortunate to have the opportunity visit. One of these place is called Milford sound and its been referred to being the eighth wonder of the world.
I have chosen to explore Milford sound by a boat cruise. The reason that I have chosen the boat is because I have never been in a boat before so it would be my first experience of not only exploring the Milford Sound but also being on a boat. I am also feeling lazy so it would be cheat way to explore and see all the beautiful sights without any hard work of walking around.
I wonder if there are more people that would chose to explore by feet than by boat or helicopter.

Hi Marwah,
ReplyDeleteIt's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey team. I think your idea of the boat is a good one. You can see both sides of the fjord up close as the boat goes up and down, unlike when you hike the track or fly over top in a helicopter. And you can move around the boat - there's room to move, without committing to a very long hike.
I've visited the Milford Sound but only as far as the parking lot. It was a long drive to get there and we could only see a certain distance up the fjord, but it was very very beautiful. I can understand why people choose to walk the track and see the bush and the fjord as they go!!
I hope you've had lots of fun and activity over your summer holiday and that you're happy to be back in school once again. Good luck this term!
Cheers,
Leslie
