summer learning journey activity / Teaser week

Namaste bloggers,

Welcome back to a new blog post. In this blog post I am going to be telling you why it is not fair that the black ferns get less money then the all blacks when the black ferns have won more games then the all blacks.
Let me tell you:

This is very unfair that women get less money then men, when they play the same sport. The black ferns are better players then the all blacks . If you are thinking how do I know It is because the black ferns have won the world cup 5 times and the all blacks won the world cup 3 times . I think this issue is according to their gender. If they are ladies or if they are men They should get the same amount of money they are both human so they should get treated the same.

well that is my explanation about why they should get treated the same
bye for now bloggers

  2. Kia orana Marwah,

I really enjoyed reading your blog post about why you think men and women in sport should be paid the same amount. I totally agree!! The level of effort, skill and commitment that both genders bring to the sport is extremely high. There has been some great success from both teams, so I believe that they should be paid the same.

What are your opinions about different sports? Do you think all sports players should be paid the same amount? For example do you think our NZ cricket team should be paid the same as our NZ netball team? I look forward to reading your response.

    4. Hi Mrs Eagleson
I hope you are having a perfect holiday.I think that the players from each team should get less money if they are not playing a rough sport. If they are playing a rough sport, they should get more money because there is a bigger chance of them getting injured.

I wish you a happy new year
and wish you an awesome rest of your holidays
      bye for now

  4. Namaste Marwah, I hope you are having a good day!

My name is Eliza and I’m working as a blog commenter on the Summer Learning Journey this summer. Have you done the Summer Learning Journey before? I’m looking forward to reading your posts and the other bloggers' posts from the Ako Hiko cluster, over the next few weeks! If you want to know more about me, you can check out my blog.

Thank you for sharing your opinion about equal pay between genders. I like that you have backed up your opinion by saying that we’re all human so we should be treated the same. It's always good to back up an opinion with a reason. The fact that you have said people should get the same amount of money for sports no matter what their gender is, shows that you're a caring and empathetic person who believes in equality! These are fantastic qualities to have.

Do you play any sports? I like to play netball, run, and dance!

Thank you so much for giving such an awesome post about gender equality when it comes to sports, I really enjoyed reading it. I hope that you will keep blogging with us over the summer. Keep working on the teaser week activities and on the 16th of December you can start the Week 1 activities.

Have a good rest of your day!
    Eliza :)
