Museum trip

Stirimishi bloggers,

Welcome back to a new blog post today I am going to tell you about my classes museum trip. Williams Class (my class) were very lucky to go on a museum trip while other classes did not get to enjoy that fun. Thank you to Miss Campbell (the principal) , Mrs Eagleson (my teacher),all the helpers, And the museum staff members . The reason I am thanking these people is because Miss Campbell offered my class to go and My teacher for saying yes and  organizing things for it. If it wasn´t  for the the helpers we would not have gone. Thank you to all the museum staff for inviting to learn about technology.
here is my writing about the museum:

Last week on Thursday 14nth of November and Friday 15nth of November  Williams class (Room 6)
went on a museum trip. We were very lucky to experience lots of new things. Before we went we had to
watch a video about the rules. Some rules were: To keep 2 feet on the floor , To not lean on the ledge,
To stay with your adult helper, use your inside voice and many more.

My favourite part of the museum was the Virtual Reality (VR) because it was fun to see around the world
. We could also design our own world. My group picked the VR headsets and we each got a turn to
make something in our world. The world we made had to be based on our school pepeha.

The successful time was green screen, because you could pick your own background to be in and
start doing moves and I am very good at both of these things.

The part that I improved in  the most was when we got to design a person and the
most fun part of it was when we could make the person come into the room! We could also carry it!!

I also liked exploring the museum

Thanks for reading my writing

Here is some photos:

hoped you enjoyed it

  1. Hi there Marwah,

I really enjoyed reading what you did at the museum. I liked how you described what you liked the most and what you improved on. Maybe next time you could add a little more detail about looking around the museum. What did you like the most about the museum? was it staying with the technology or was it doing something around the museum?

    yours sincerely,
    Fatima

  4. Kia ora Marwah,

I really enjoyed reading your blog post about the Museum, and I love the fact that you blogged about it in your own time! I'm so glad we were able to have the museum experience. I think Williams Class learnt a lot and I definitely learnt heaps. I am really looking forward to using a green screen for our film festival movies next year now that I know how to do it! Hopefully you are in my class next year so we can utilise you as a techxpert for next year!

What are your group's next steps for when Wendy visits us in Week 9?
