My Hat!!!!

 Hey bloggers!

Yesterday we described our hats using specific vocabulary. I left my hat at home so I used a school hat.   We wrote about our hats because it is going to be summer soon. The sun's rays can cause you to have skin cancer. If you have skin cancer you will get dark brown or black moles around your body. Trust me you do not want it! It was easy!

Let's move on. I made a recording of myself reading my writing that I would like to share with you.

Recreating a quote!!!

Today I recreated a quote.  We learnt about evaluating media. Evaluating media is basically means deciding if things are fake or real. I chose this quote because I agree with it. The reason I chose this image as the background is because it was the closest to the real one.

DIYA CREATION

 Hey Bloggers!

Today we have modeled clay into a diya for Diwali. It was so fun to create. I used Sascha's blog to help me make it. If you want to create your own you can check her blog for the instructions. Digital Ignition

 Asalamualaikum bloggers,

Today we did digital ignition lesson with Ms. Jess. I want to share with you what I have learnt? What I enjoyed and what I found difficult?

What did I learn?

I learnt that to know that your device is digital it needs 4 different actions which are:  input, output, process and storage. The most important is storage.

What did I enjoy?

I enjoyed using makers empire which is an app to create many awesome 3d designs

The thing I found challenging ?

The thing I found challenging was to identify the olden day and the modern day items and match them together.

I think we should get the  makers Empire the app because it is extremely fun to use it and it helps us understand more about digital technology.

Museum trip

 Sup bloggers,

Yesterday ( Tuesday 27 October) we had an awesome experience at the museum. We looked at some ancient items that were treasured at the museum. There was even a whare/ marae ( a house that you can live in) inside the museum.

 The person who owns the marae was wealthy but somehow they became poor and insects started to chew on the marae so they gave it to museum because they knew if they gave it to the museum it would be properly looked after.

Something I learnt was that Maori people used to give a house when someone gets married. A carver and his son built/ carved the house. They carved their an sisters to remember them and treasure them in their heart.

My favourite part of the museum was the volcano room. The ground shakes like an earthquake and the light turns off and on ,off and on. 3 people from my group screamed and 3 people including me did not scream because we had experienced it before.
